The developer of the popular iDevice game Tiny Wings, Andreas Illiger, has released a new update for iPhone, and added support for iPad. Tiny Wings is originally $0.99, but this update will be free for those of you who already own the iOS app. In the update, you’ll finally see that it supports Retina Display which will look amazing on your iPad 3!
Here’s exactly what’s new from the developer himself:
• A new game mode: “Flight School”
• 15 hand-crafted levels that really “flow”
• A few new additions to the bird family
• Hello shiny Retina Display! Tiny Wings is now as lovely as you are.
• Night flights
• iCloud support (even syncs your game between the iPhone & iPad versions)
• Revised menu
• New languages: German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch
So in the update you get a new game mode, Retina Display, and iCloud syncing across all of your iDevices. We’d say this update is well worth it! And since the iPad is now supported, you can now get a bigger screen to play Tiny Wings HD on and become a better iOS gamer. Here’s a look at Tiny Wings HD:
Tiny Wings HD is a completely separate game so it’ll cost you $2.99. But with the new iPad being Retina Display and being able to play multiplayer with a friend on just one iPad, this game again is definitely worth it. Here’s what it looks like with two people playing on one iPad:
You can see the screen is split in half and the two birds are battling head to head. So for a major update to the iPhone and iPod touch users and the added support for iPad and Retina Display devices, go check out Tiny Wings and let us know in the comments what you think about the new update!
